No. 4: Connor Cook

Connor Cook is who many have as the No. 1 quarterback prospect for 2016 but I have him at four. He completed 58 percent of his passes for 3,214 yards, 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 2014. Along with the NFL evaluators I love his a big arm, pocket presence and mobility to avoid rushers.

I also love that Cook plays in a pro-style system and showed ability to work through his progressions. But his accuracy isn’t consistent enough as he misses too many open targets down the field for me. Footwork is what improves accuracy so that is what he’s probably working on as I write this.

At 6’4″, 218 pounds Cook also has the size the NFL likes to go with the arm and field vision to be a good pocket passer. Others have him so high because they’re projecting but I need to see more from him in college to put him higher. So I have him at four for now while he still has a chance to climb up to No. 1 on my ranking.
