No. 2: Cardale Jones

Cardale Jones is a phenomenal talent put it on a display in 2014 as soon as he got an opportunity to. In his three starts, he completed 61 percent of his passes for 860 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions. Jones has a very small sample size but he showed everything you want from an NFL quarterback.

He has great size, a huge arm to make throws anywhere on the field and accuracy to thread the needle. Winning the National Championship in his third game as a starter shows you the upside he has. I’ve seen him throw into tight windows at times but he doesn’t go through many progressions in his offense.

And at 6’5″, 250 pounds, he’s a good athlete that can break tackles then get rid of the ball, ala Ben Roethlisberger. I’m not calling Jones the perfect prospect as he has things to clean up like holding onto the ball too long. But his size, arm and athleticism as a runner make him a good prospect so I have him at No. 2.
