Bottom Line
With rookies, especially at receiver and corner, the hardest part of the game is the mental part. And it isn’t until you get the mental part down that you can play at full speed and show your physical gifts. And Waynes isn’t one that’s going to have to do a whole lot of thinking out on the football field.
The Vikings blitz a lot so there’s going to be a mainly one-on-one coverage, which is why they drafted Waynes. And for Cooper, he’s going from the West Coast Offense in college to the West Coast Offense in the pros. And Adam Caplan tweeted that the Raiders described him as the real deal and having almost no mental errors in OTAs and minicamps.
So this is going to be a really intriguing match-up on November 15.
