42. <p>In spite of all the recent retirements, the San Francisco 49ers are going to be alright on defense. Chris Borland, Patrick Willis and Justin Smith are among the retirements. Michael Wilhoite and Navaro Bowman will back to sure up inside linebacker.</p> <p>No. 17 overall Arik Armstead was picked to replace Smith, a 3-4 defensive end. Armstead is up for the challenge as he is just as talented as Williams at No. 7 but not as advanced. He’ll have his impact but he’s a 3-4 end so he’ll have only 4 sacks.</p>. DL. Oregon.
