<p>No. 28 overall Laken Tomlinson has done what he can impress the Detroit Lions. Not having any pads on through offseason workouts limted what he could show. But all you have to do is pop in some tape to know that this was a good pick for the Lions.</p> <p>He’s a good pass-blocker but he’s a road-grader of a run-blocker. The Lions have a good defense now and can use a good running game to go with it. Tomlinson will help with that as quarterback Mathew Stafford to receiver Calvn Johnson isn’t enough on offense.</p>.
