From rookie year to year two is when NFL players make the biggest jump in their respective careers. And Oakland Raiders outside linebacker Khalil Mack was already a star outside linebacker in 2014. As a mater of fact, Pro Football Focus rated him as the best 4-3 outside linebacker in the NFL.

He was No. 2 in the NFL in runs stuffs, plays in which Mack made a tackle at or behind the line of scrimmage with 11.5. Mack was tied for 10th in the NFL for tackles for a loss to qualify him as a star. So the big jump for Mack would be to superstar and for to happen, Mack needs more sacks.

With Mack’s total being only four in 2014, new head coach Jack Del Rio has plans to push that total up. Both the scheme and personnel of the defense he’ll be playing in is conducive to just that. So in 2015, Mack is poised to make that jump to superstardom and all that comes with it.
