State of the Franchise: Descending

The Chiefs got a couple of deep threats this offseason for a quarterback (Alex Smith) that does everything but throw deep. It was a good idea to keep their edge-rusher and to pick their corner in the first round. But they didn’t do much to address their run defense, let best offensive lineman leave and didn’t address left tackle, where they have a bust.
