Vic Beasley

No. 7 overall Kevin White is out with a shin injury so he’s not doing anything of note these days. So we have to move on to No. 8 overall, Vic Beasley, now the edge-rusher for the Atlanta Falcons. I had Beasley as my No. 1 edge-rusher because of his college production along with his freakish athleticism.

And that freakish athleticism has been on full display for day one, minute one of training camp. Beasley’s coaches and teammates have had no choice but to take notice while dominates camp. Head coach Dan Quinn loves the fact that Beasley has been everything in camp that he was on tape.

He said, “The one thing that I was hoping to see, and the one thing that I saw was his ability to beat a guy to the paint, and that pass rush is such an important thing. “When you can close the distance so fast, and that’s what I saw on tape, and when you can see it here it was really clear on how he can play. That’s why he has been such a valuable player.”
