Bottom Line

Shetlon is going to take the Browns defense to another level as he puts an end to their woes against the run. They already have a great pass defense and have some pieces on offense but they still need a quarterback. The Saints always have a shot to win as long as they have Drew Brees at quarterback.

But if Armtsead doesn’t come back and Peat continues the way he is now, they may not have Brees at quarterback very long. The Vikings look like they’re going to be very formidable this year with Adrian Peterson and co. on offense. The Defensive front seven looks strong for this year and with Rhodes on the other side, Waynes will get picked on.

Rookie corners usually struggle so Gordon’s impact will have the most value of this group. The Chargers stole Denzel Perryman in the second round to address stopping the run, their other problem. They have a Top-5 pass-defense and Top-10 pass-offense so I believe Gordon makes the Chargers contenders.

And if they trade for or develop a great pass rusher, I’ll pick them to go to the Super Bowl. Being an Oakland Raiders fan, I hate the Chargers but Gordon is a big-time player going into the right situation. He’s going to have a lot to do with the swing of his franchise in the right direction in 2015.
