With No. 21 overall Cedric Ogbuehi on the Cincinnati Bengals, NFI list, we move on to the Pittsburgh Steelers. They took 3-4 outside linebacker Bud Dupree with their No. 22 overall pick. At 6’4″, 270 and a freak athlete, he fits the mold of what the physical, hard-hitting Steelers outside linebacker.

And as soon as the pads came on in training camp, Dupree didn’t disappoint, impressing those around camp. Neal Coolong of DKPittsburghSports said, “There’s a distinct sound when Dupree smashes into one of the tight ends he’s constantly covering so far. He’s not looking to take their heads off, but he is letting them know he’s there.”

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the guy we saw at the Hall of Fame game as he struggled to get off blocks. He had just two total tackles (one solo) in three quarters of play against the Minnesota Vikings. He with the second team as of now to but that was the first preseason game as he has plenty of time.
