9. Chicago Bears- Jaylon Smith, LB, Notre Dame

Brian Urlacher retired a few years ago and the Chicago Bears are still looking for someone to fill his shoes. Actually, they are still searching for a player who could even give them average play at the inside linebacker position.

Notre Dame’s Jaylon Smith is a great candidate to step in and make an immediate impact. He’s an elite athlete capable of making plays from sideline to sideline.

Smith also has a great feel for the position making quick reads on a consistent basis. His ability to hold up in coverage is an important skill as the NFL moves more towards pass-happy offenses.
