14. Houston Texans- Christian Hackenberg, QB, Penn State

This is match made in heaven with head coach Bill O’Brien having recruited and coached Christian Hackenberg while at Penn State. He’s the ideal quarterback for how O’Brien wants to attack the defense thanks to his natural skill set.

Hackenberg is coming off a disappointing sophomore season but is still extremely talent. He needs to cut down on his mistakes and show better poise in the pocket. However, there’s still a chance O’Brien targets Hackenberg in the first round even if he struggles again this season.

There’s no denying the Texans need at the position where neither Brian Hoyer nor Ryan Mallett have seized the long-term job.
