21. Philadelphia Eagles- Vonn Bell, S, Ohio State

The Philadelphia Eagles plan on heading into the season with Walter Thurman, a converted cornerback coming off an injury, as one of their starting safeties. Only time will tell if this experiment is successful but these type of position switches usually come with growing pains.

If Thurman falters the safety position becomes one of the more pressing needs for Philadelphia.

Ohio State’s Vonn Bell would be one prospect the Eagles can target in next year’s draft. Bell is a good overall player but his real strength comes in coverage. Plugging him alongside Malcolm Jenkins would give the Eagles the best of both worlds.
