28. Dallas Cowboys- Scooby Wright, LB, Arizona

Arizona’s Scobby Wright is one of the most productive players in college football thanks to his high motor and strong instincts. However, his overall draft stock is in a bit of limbo because he lacks ideal size and bulk. NFL linebackers need a good frame in order to take on blocks, disengage and endure the physical nature of the position.

Wright’s instincts and ability to make quick reads will be key to helping  him stay on the field. He has shown throughout his college career that he’s capable of beating the blocker to the hole thus avoiding major contact.

The Dallas Cowboys need to find stability at the middle linebacker position. Rolondo McClain played well last season but his suspension to begin this year is a concern. Wright is a high-character prospect who will not only stay out of trouble but also produce on the field.
