2. Cleveland Browns- Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State

I’m not ready to completely write off Johnny Manziel, but based on these power rankings Cleveland will need to make a change at quarterback. The Browns are a team that features a good base of talent that should provide an easier transition for a young quarterback.

The offensive line is the key as they will offer protection and a consistent ground attack.

Michigan State’s Connor Cook gets the nod over the other highly-rated quarterback prospects because he has proven to be more consistent through the course of his career. However, he also possesses all the physical tools needed to excel at the next level.

Cook features a live arm capable of delivering the ball with zip to all levels. He’s also able to get proper loft on his deep ball allowing the receiver to make the catch in stride.
