29. Seattle Seahawks- Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss

Many have Ole Miss’s Laquon Treadwell ranked as their top wide receiver prospect but I have my reservations. He is coming off a gruesome injury which may take time to fully overcome. Treadwell also doesn’t show the same type of explosiveness as the receivers who came off the board earlier in this mock draft. However, he’s still a talented player whose size creates a real mismatch.

The Seattle Seahawks remain committed to running the football and playing good defense. However, they just sunk a ton of money into Russell Wilson and need to make the pieces are in place for him to succeed. Adding another playmaker like Treadwell to the mix would do wonders to the overall effectiveness of the offense.

Defenses would have a very tough time matching up against Treadwell and Jimmy Graham while still needing to worry about the running game.
