6. San Francisco 49ers- Robert Nkemdiche, DL, Ole Miss
The San Francisco 49ers are coming off a painful offseason which saw several high-profile players leave the organization. They went from a team on the cusp of a Super Bowl to one facing a tough rebuild. There’s no better place to start a rebuild than in the trenches.
Robert Nkemdiche is a unique talent thanks to his combination of size and athleticism. He’d be a great fit for San Francisco’s 3-4 defense and give them a potential replacement for the retired Justin Smith.
Nkemdiche excels at wreaking havoc in the offensive backfield but also plays the run with integrity. The 49ers would have the makings of a dominant defensive line by pairing Nkemdiche with 2014 first-round pick Arik Armstead.
