All is not lost for the Green Bay Packers because mercurial receiver Jordy Nelson tore his ACL. Sure, losing a great receiver isn’t a good thing and it will make the Packers different on offense. But overall, they are a much better team than they were when theylost to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship game last season.

Therefore, they will still make their date with the Seahawks in the NFC Championship this season. As for the result, they were never a lock to beat the Seahawks in the NFC Championship game. Now with superstar tight end Jimmy Graham, there is no such thing as a lock to beat the Seahawks.

But the loss of Nelson makes them no less likely to get there.
