OT. Cincinnati Bengals. CEDRIC OGBUEHI. I.
The contracts of tackles Andrew Whitworth and Andre Smith’s will be up at the end of this season. And the Cincinnati Bengals have moved to zone-blocking, a scheme the two vets don’t fit the best. And Cedric Ogbuehi, out of Texas A&M, was one of, if not the most talented left tackle in the 2015 NFL Draft.

So with the Bengals took him No, 21 overall despite the fact that Ogbuehi tore his ACL last season. And right now, he’s on the reserve/PUP list, where there is not plan for him to play this year. His upside is so great, that the Bengals took him in the first round to give him a red-shirt year to heal and develop.

They obviously didn’t feel like there was anyone available that could help them right away at No. 21 or value. He and 2nd-round pick Jake Fisher are those smaller zone-blocking types that will complete the overhaul of the offensive line next year. But for now, the grade is incomplete as Ogbuehi will not see the field this year.
