New Orleans Saints. STEPHONE ANTHONY. A.
The New Orleans Saints were ranked No. 29 against the run in 2014 so they had to do something this offseason. The first thing they did was trade tight end Jimmy Graham to get themselves a second 1st-round pick. And with it, the took middle linebacker Stephone Anthony No. 31 overall.

And from the start of training camp, he impressed the Saints with his physicality, instincts and speed. The team also likes the way he’s lining the defense up, making checks, quarterbacking them. That’s also what he’s shown in both preseason games while making a couple rookie mistakes in the first game.

But overall, it’s clear from watching him play that the Saints have their middle linebacker now. And the Saints defense looks much improved from last year with Anthony in the middle of it. So he and the Saints get an A as Anthony already looks like he’s made the defense better and for the trade to get him.
. MLB
