The Jacksonville Jaguars defensive front-7 put heat on the quarterback in 2014 without a top edge-rusher. So I looked forward to seeing them in 2015 after they took Dante Fowler No. 3 overall. Adding corner Davon House in free agency was going to make the secondary a little better too.

But 20 minutes into his first practice at rookie minicamp, Folwer tore an ACL and he’s out for the season. Now, they have to hope Chris Clemons can go back into his prime for one more year. I’m starting to wonder what Jaguars owner Shahid Khan did to end up with such bad fortune.

I know injuries are huge part of football but that guy, that fast, when things were looking up isn’t right. Fowler was injured so quickly, no one had a chance to see how he looked before the injury. So Fowler and the Jaguars get an I for imcomplete for their progress report to be continued in 2016.
.
