Chicago Bears. KEVIN WHITE. I.
The big debate over this past offseason was which receiver should be picked first in the draft. The two contestants were Cooper out of Alabama or Kevin White coming out of West Virginia. It was the route-running and polish of Cooper vs the size and speed of White until the simulcam showed Cooper was faster.

But where Cooper really won is where it counts, going No. 4 overall to White’s No. 7 overall. Cooper, for his part, validated the selection, shaking defenders out of their shoes in training camp and preseason games. Meanwhile White practiced a few times and had to get shut down because of a shin injury.

But a couple of practices doesn’t enable anyone to properly evaluate the progress of a given prospect. So I had to go ahead and give White the big I for incomplete as his injury stopped all evaluation. But he’s not out for the season so at some point, we’re going to get to see what the Bears have in White.
. WR
