D-.
The New Orleans Saints took Andrus Peat No. 13 overall with hopes that he takes the right tackle job. And early on, I wouldn’t give him anything higher than a C because I had to see him work against starters. Now, I no longer need to see him against starters because he’s bad enough against backups.

So Zach Strief, the starting right tackle who’s been in the NFL for last 10 years, will keep his job. He’s at that age where you don’t know when a player’s prime ends and when it falls, it falls fast. So the Saints are hoping that Streaf can play at a high level while Peat develops.

As for Peat, he needs to get it going and show the Saints’ staff something more than he has so far. He’s already struggled with his conditioning of all things since the beginning of training camp. Between him and Johnathan Marin, the NFL could stop looking for left tackles from Stanford in the first round.
. OT. New Orleans Saints. ANDRUS PEAT
