C-.
In training camp, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Lovie Smith ran a lot of exotic blitzes at 2015 No. 1 overall Jameis Winston. Quarterback the hardest position ot play in the NFL and figuring the blitzes is a big part of it. Right now, it’s unclear as to whether or not Smith’s preparation of Winston has worked.

In the preseason opener, he was inconsistent and uncomfortable but did some good things. Then in the second preseason game, Winston threw lasers into tight windows and even showed is underrated athleticism on a touchdown run. Game three wasn’t pretty at all for Winston as the Buccaneers offensive line didn’t protect him well.

That old saying about a player becoming who he always was under extreme heat is true. Winston, under the heat, became his old gun-slinger self, trying to force things and was intercepted for it. He needs to learn the value of an incompleted pass and that he doesn’t have to make every play.
. QB. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. JAMEIS WINSTON
