B-.
The New England Patriots took nose tackle Malcom Brown with the No. 32 overall pick in the draft. The Patriots needed a player to try to replace Vince Wilfork, whom they lost early this offseason. And at the same time, Brown was considered a steal as the Patriots were shocked he was around for them to pick so late.

And this preseason, he has shown that while you don’t just replace Wilfork, he was the right pick for the team. He’s strong at the point of attack against the run so he’ll occupy multiple blockers. He can also use that power he has to push the pocket back into the quarterback’s face.

And he has done a little of all that since the Patriots got him in training camp into the preseason games. The only problem I see for Brown is he is not yet consistent enought throughout an entire game. He is a huge man that has just come into the NFL so that may be the conditioning part that will come.
. NT. New England Patriots. MALCOLM BROWN
