A+. <p>The Oakland Raiders took receiver Amari Cooper No. 4 overall to put with quarterback Derek Carr. And the most polished receiver in the 2015 NFL Draft has done nothing but impress since. In the preseason opener, he showed his route-running skills, using them to find the opening in the zone on short to intermediate passes.</p> <p>Then in game two, on a 40-yard catch, he showed his ability to get behind the defense, hitting veteran corner Terrance Newman with a double-move. So far, he’s been able to get separation on anyone put in front of him. Four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Patrick Peterson wasn’t even able to stay with him on Sunday.</p><div class=. WR. He shook Peterson at the line of scrimmage, again at the top of his route and again once he caught it en route to a 36-yard gain. Cooper’s game didnt’ start very well because he was fighting the Sun as it was setting. But his four catches for 62 yards, especially the big play in the game, showed why the Raiders took him No. 4 overall.
