LEONARD WILLIAMS. A.
Despite having two stars at his postion, the New York Jets took Leonard Williams No. 6 overall. He was regarded as the best player in the draft this offseason so the Jets couldn’t resist when they picked. And Williams has shown that he’s going to be a dominant player in the NFL real soon.

He’s been disruptive, constantly getting into the opposing team’s backfield all preseason long. This preseason, Williams has 1.5 sacks, including a safety, a couple of tackles for a loss and a couple of pressures. In the dress rehearsal, Williams’ day was cut short with a knee injury that didn’t end up being too serious.

Standout defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson will serve a 4-game suspension to start the season. And Muhamaad Wilkerson is at the end of his contract so Williams has a chance to take a position. Either way, the Jets are going into this year and will go into next year feeling good about the 3-4 end position.
. DE. New York Jets
