C+.
The Atlanta Falcons took Vic Bealsey No. 8 overall to play the Leo position and rush off the edge. I always thought that Beasley was the best edge-rusher in the this year’s draft even over Fowler. His freakish athleticism is great but his counter-moves like spinning back inside showed why he led the 2015 draft class in career sacks while in college.

Yet I didn’t see anyone else pounding the table for him until he showed his freakish athleticism at the combine. But still, there are concerns that he’s too light in the booty and would have problems vs the run. So far this preseason, Beasley has shown he is strong, not having any problems against the run.

That burst and acceleration around the corner he was drafted for was also on display. But I had to drop his grade because in the third preseason game, the dress rehearsal, he disappeared. I love his burst off the edge, ability to set an edge and pass-rushing skill but I need to see him do more.
. EDGE. Atlanta Falcons. VIC BEASLEY
