New Standard

Coming from a Super Bowl atmosphere, Norton has a higher standard than what was in Oakland before. He wants pure, no-nonsense football players that are disciplined and all about the team. Those with their own agenda and have no discipline are not welcome because those types of players lose games for you.

Like Moore almost did last season with the extremely long dance celebration after a sack late in the game. As talented as Moore is, Norton wants his defense to play disciplined, assignment-based football. That wasn’t the kind of football Moore was playing when he there was a touchdown catch he allowed to Houston Texan’s J.J. Watt.

The Raiders had practiced against all week and that Moore was warned about it seconds before it happened. And would you believe he wore action-figure pajamas  to the team facility every day. Norton and head coach Jack Del Rio are trying to change the culture so they don’t need a player that thinks he’s cute.
