Bottom line

Moore was a beloved Raider and he’s a very talented player you have to be smart, disciplined and mistake free. And people that treat the game the way Moore does are the ones that are neither. You can understand him being young and turnt-up when he’s about to get his first win of a bad season.

But coming into his third year and wearing action figure pajamas around the facility isn’t maturing. And that’s not what you want to show new coaches that want to come in and change the culture. He’ll learn from this and the Colts will be able to handle him with the winning culture they already have.

But while you’re trying to establish a new culture like the Raiders are now, you can’t have that. That’s why the Raiders had to trade a talent like Moore for only a 6th-round pick in the 2016 draft. If they didn’t get a 6th-round pick, the Raiders probably would have had to cut him.
