The Cowboys will go into this season with a better running back in their high-powered offense. Then on defense, they turned a weakness that cost them against the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs into a strength. I understand the Dez Bryant call but if the Cowboys had a pass-rush, it wouldn’t have been close with Aaron Rodgers limping around.

This year, if they see the Packers again in the playoffs, Rodgers will have problems with the Cowboys pass-rush. Hardy has done nothing but sack opposing quarterbacks since he’s come into the NFL. In 2013, his last full season, he had more than half the total of the Cowboys sacks in 2014 (15-28).

Not only is the addition of Hardy going to give you a pass-rush from him but it’s going to open up things for other. Offensive coordinators are going to spend their sleepless nights on finding ways not to get beat by him. It just doesn’t seem right that a guy can get in trouble off the field then find himself on a contender that he’s the missing piece for.
