When Amari Cooper was a draft prospect, the NFL scouting world couldn’t stop with the superlatives. Much was made of his playing in a pro style offense at Alabama and sharp route-running. They raved about the speed and quickness he used to get big-time separation and run after the catch.

The scouting world also liked his work ethic, calling hin the most polished, pro-ready receiver prospect. Then the Oakland Raiders took him No. 4 overall to build around quarterback Derek Carr. And since his arrival at the Raiders’ facility, Cooper has been nothing but as advertised.
