Oakland Raiders’ 2014 No. 5 overall Khalil Mack is drawing comparisons to Hall of Fame outside linebacker Lawrence Taylor. His ability to rush the passer play the run, cover and be dominant at it is what’s drawing such comparisons. Players all around the NFL have taken notice of Mack, already putting him on the top 100 NFL football players list.

With that recognition came attention from offensive coordinators that game-planned for him the first two games. But right as Mack’s comparisons started, Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio started using him the way the New York Giants used Taylor. And the result was a dominant performance that made you see why the comparison was made.
