They want to be able to run the ball more but they have to protect an agning quarterback in Carson Palmer. So they couldn’t resist extremely talented and athletic tackle D.J. Humphries at No. 24 ovrall.</p> <p>The organization wanted him to come in and earn a spot on the other side of Jared Veldheer. But unfortunately, all the talent in the world doesn’t mean you’re ready for the big leagues. And things have done nothing but go down hill for Humphries and the Cardinals since then. As a matter of fact, he has dropped down as low as 3rd-string and his Cardinals depth chart. It looks like the Cardinals need to look at a person’s mentality a little more instead of getting caught up in a player’s athleticism.
