BYRON JONES. B-.
the Dallas Cowboys had a great offseason and taking corner Bryon Jones No. 27 overall was a part of it. It’s hard to crack the starting lineup on a championship contender but Jones does have a role. With all of his versatility, he does some switching back and forth from corner to safety.

And he actually does a pretty good job with everything his coaching staff has asked of him. What they’ve asked him to do the most of and he’s done a nice job doing is covering tight ends in the dime package. Jones also filled in briefly at safety against the Falcons when Barry Chuch cut his lip.

He has shown the speed and athleticm to cover receivers and the strength to cover tight end. That obviously comes in handy with the way these mismatch tight ends are taking over the NFL these days. I really like what I see from him and would like to see more but when you start getting this low in the draft, it’s harder to make an impact.
. CB. Dallas Cowboys
