He has really helped sophomore quarterback Derek Carr make that big jump to his second year. When this whole NFL Rookie of the Year thing is all said and done, his name is going to be in there somehwere. If neither he nor his quarterback suffer a bad injury, Cooper is probably the favorite to take the award home.

A true No. 1 receiver is a deep threat, moves the chains on third downs and can take a short pass to the house. Well, all that is the description of Oakland Raiders No. 4 overall Amari Cooper. Since he’s been a Raider, he has looked like one of those guys that can’t be stopped and I mean by anyone.
Well, accept for himself which has happened at times as he has dropped some balls he can catch in his sleep. But Cooper leads all rookies in catches, yards and touchdowns and it isn’t even close. Then he’s second in all of the NFL in yards after the catch as he has been a big-time playmaker for the Raiders so far.
