Atlanta Falcons. VIC BEASLEY. A+.
I always thought Atlanta Falcons No. 8 overall Vic Bealsey was the best edge-rusher in the this year’s draft. There is a reason why he led the 2015 draft class in career sacks while in college. His freakish athleticism is great but knowing how to get to the quarterback matters more than anything.

Scouts liked the freakish athleticism he showed at the combine but had concerns that he’s too light in the booty and would have problems vs the run. However, at the a quarter-mark of the season, Beasley hasn’t had any problems against the run. And if he did, that burst and acceleration he has around the corner would make it well worth it.

At the same time, he has been using his assortment of moves and counter-moves to put heat on the quarterback. So far, he has a couple of sacks to lead his classmates and take his place among the league’s leaders. Thus, making enough of an impact to help the Falcons to a 4-0 record and the lead in the NFC South.
. EDGE
