Latavius Murray
That was a promising drive the Raiders were on when Roberts didn’t read the blitz and Carr gets credit for the interception late in the fourth quarter. In the game before that, Latavius Murray had one bounce off his chest for an interception. That’s to of his three interceptions that were mistakes made by youngsters around him.
Also in Chicago, Murray fumbled the ball for another turnover in a game the Raiders lost by two. This is Murray’s third year but his first going into to the season as the starting running back. And so far this year, he has disappointed, having his only good game against the non-run-stopping Cleveland Browns.
This what I feared from last year as he had great games against bad run defenses and was pedestrian in others. It’s been reported that he’s had a shoulder injury but so has 39-year old Charles Woodson and he’s making plays. Murray needs to step up the rest of he season, starting Sunday against the San Diego Chargers because the running is important.
