Chicago Bears (2-4)

The Chicago Bears are in complete rebuilding mode which typically means a change at the quarterback position is on the horizon. At the beginning of the season it seemed like a foregone conclusion that this would be Jay Cutler’s final season in Chicago.

However, there’s a chance the Bears re-evaluate things as Cutler has had a strong start to the year. He’s been able to put up solid numbers despite not having a full complement of weapons and a banged up offensive line.

It’s possible that the Bears look to bring Cutler back for another season, but that shouldn’t impact their decision to draft a young quarterback. Cutler is owed a ton of money through the duration of his contract and will never live up to that billing.

Adding a young quarterback to the mix would allow Chicago to finally get out from underneath the underwhelming Jay-Cutler era.

This might be one of the better situations for a rookie quarterback as there’s a potential to sit behind a veteran quarterback, play with young playmakers like Alshon Jeffery/Kevin White and work with a promising coaching staff.
