2016 NFL Mock Draft: Week 8 Update
By Jon Dove
16. Oakland Raiders (3-3)- Tre’Davious White, CB, LSU
The future is looking pretty bright for the Oakland Raiders mainly thanks to the quick development of Derek Carr and Amari Cooper. Offensively the team seems in good hands, but the defense needs to add some more impact talent. This is especially true in the secondary where DJ Hayden continues to disappoint.
LSU’s Tre’Davious White is a physical cornerback who isn’t afraid to mix it up in the run game or battle for a jump ball. His size and strength combo makes him a good candidate to matchup against divisional foes like Demaryius Thomas and Keenan Allen.
Oakland could also target someone like Alabama’s Reggie Ragland who would provide a physical force at the inside linebacker position.
