17. Philadelphia Eagles (3-4)- Jack Conklin, OL, Michigan State
The Philadelphia Eagles offensive line is a complete mess and really keeping the offense from finding a rhythm. They appear set at the tackle position with Jason Peters and Lane Johnson, but lack talent at guard. Michigan State’s Jack Conklin possesses the potential to quickly develop into an all-pro player.
Conklin currently lines up at left tackle for Michigan State but lacks the foot speed to stick at that position. His aggressiveness as a run blocker and raw power make him a great fit to kick inside.
The big question for the Eagles surrounds what they’ll do with their quarterback situation. Sam Bradford hasn’t performed at a high level making it possible Philadelphia is looking for a replacement in the offseason. The issue is that the quarterbacks left on the board would be a major reach at this point.
