22. New York Giants (4-3)- Shawn Oakman, Edge, Baylor
The Jason Pierre-Paul saga recent took a step forward with him signing a 1-year deal but time will tell how effective he can be with his injuries. Even if Pierre-Paul returns to form, the New York Giants need to address their lack of a pass rush. Baylor’s Shawn Oakman is a bit raw but features limitless potential.
Oakman is a physical freak who has a rare combination of length and athleticism. He could develop into an elite pass rusher with proper coaching. Steve Spagnuolo has a reputation of putting players in strong position to succeed and would likely love to work with a player with Oakman’s talent.
