23. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-3)- Vonn Bell, S, Ohio State

The Pittsburgh Steelers secondary is a work in progress and in need of an infusion of talent. A safety prospect like Ohio State’s Vonn Bell would be a great option because of his ability to hold up in deep coverage. Pittsburgh ranks among the worst pass defenses in the league allowing roughly 277 yards per game.

They’ve focused on improving the pass rush in the past few draft but now need to turn their attention to the secondary. However, it would help if Jarvis Jones and Bud Dupree start to live up to their 1st-round billing.

The issues defending the pass can’t solely be blamed on the safety position which means targeting a cornerback in this spot would also be under consideration.
