24. Seattle Seahawks (3-4)- KeiVarae Russell, CB, Notre Dame
The “Legion of Boom” has been one of the main cogs in Seattle Seahawks recent success but the group has started to show some weakness. Some of this might have to do with losing depth over the past several years with players like Walter Thurman and Byron Maxwell leaving via free agency.
Seattle looked to fill that void with Cary Williams but the fact is he allows too many big plays to be a reliable player. Notre Dame’s KeiVarae Russell is a solidly build prospect who is tailor-made for the Seahawks defensive system. He’s excels at working in zone coverage where he can read the quarterback and break on the football.
The Seahawks are another team that will target offensively lineman early in the draft. USC’s Max Tuerk would serve as a long-term replacement for Max Unger who was traded during the offseason.
