Bottom line

Everyone is talking about how great the Jets defense is but they’re forgetting a few things here. First, that supposed vaunted defense has only played against one good quarterback having a good year this year. They’ve feasted on Johnny Manziel, a struggling Andrew Luck, Sam Bradford, Ryan Tannehill, and Kirk Cousins this season.

The quarterback’s they’ve been playing have been so bad, Tom Brady’s 355 yards on them last week didn’t knock them out of the top spot defensively. No, I’m not saying that Carr is Brady but he’s better than the rest of the quarterbacks the Jets have faced. And the Raiders have an explosive offense that’s getting better every week.

They have torn through a few top pass defenses already, including the San Diego Chargers last week. They had 215 yards passing in the first half before calling off the dogs in the second half on them. So the experts are wrong to believe the Raiders can’t do their damage on the Jets on Sunday.
