Vernon Davis makes Denver Broncos Super Bowl favorites

New England Patriots fans don’t want to hear it.
Cincinnati Bengals fans don’t want to hear it.
But the Denver Broncos, the way they are currently constructed with the acquisition of tight end Vernon Davis makes them the favorites to win the Super Bowl. As much as it hurts to say this, the Broncos have added the final piece to their championship team. Quarterback Peyton Manning seems to have found a rhythm after struggling the first few games.
Manning seemed to have gone back to is old self last week as he has a better grasp of the new offense. The Broncos have also made some changes to the offensive line to enable them to protect him better. So expect receivers Demarious Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders to do their damage now.
It also looks like the Broncos are running the ball better with Ronnie Hillman to bring balance lately. But it’s not complete for Manning unless he has a tight end as he made Dallas Clark Jacob Tamme and Julius Thomas famous. Davis actually made his name already but many think he’s washed up now.
But the only problem Davis had before the trade is that Collin Kaepernick was his quarterback. Everyone thought former San Francisco 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree was washed up last year. But watching him with the Oakland Raiders tells me Kaepernick is definitely the problem.
Then you have their shut-down defense that’s on pace to put up all-time shut-down numbers. I underestimated their defense early on but it’s safe to say the Orange Crush is back and then some. The Vernon Davis-trade has the Broncos fully loaded on both sides of the ball and the Super Bowl favorites now.
