Bottom line
The Raiders 33-13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals looks better every week as the Bengals stay undefeated. One thing that needs to be remembered about that game is that the score was only 10-0 when Carr went out after a quarter and some change. Carr has proven his value to the Raiders this season enough to tell us the game wouldn’t have been that lopsided.
As a matter of fact, a game between the Raiders and the Bengals would be a lot different now. The Raiders have since learned how to stop opposing tight ends and now have their own tight end going. The run defense has improved since that game and the secondary is improving without their starting free safety.
When he gets back, it will improve even more because their best corner goes back to his best position. Then you have the running game that stumbled out of the gate but was able to get going against the NFL’s best defense. Let’s not forget that Smith (Aldon) missed training camp and is starting to get back into form.
Win of lose, this team has gotten better every week and looks like a playoff team.
They also look like a threat when they get there!
