13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Taylor Decker, OL Ohio State

Donovan Smith is a lot of things, but a starting caliber LT he is not. He appears to be Mike Adams 2.0: a 2nd round OT who has the blocking skills but lacks the footwork and quickness needed to start. He could be quite good as a RT or LG. Decker might be a better version of Smith but ultimately but he won’t embarrass himself at LT like Donovan has this season.

With Decker, you’re getting an experienced run blocker who is unafraid to get nasty. He did play for Urban Meyer, so you might want to beef up his legal representation as well.

12. Miami Dolphins: Emmanual Ogbah, DE Okla State

Outside of Cam Wake‘s 4 sack explosion before tearing his achilles’ tendon, the Dolphins‘ defensive line has been very meh despite all the money and resources that they poured into getting it.

Suh looks like Albert Haynesworth in DC 2.0, and Vernon has battled injuries and mediocrity when healthy.

Ogbah is a tweener who could become a Justin Tuck type: too slow for DE, too small for DT but his advanced position skills allow him to excel in situations where he can overwhelm a blocker who doesn’t know how to deal with him.

11. Kansas City Chiefs: Ronnie Stanley, OL Notre Dame

Eric Fisher has been playing the hokey pokey with where he’s lined up. He’s gone from RT to LT to RT to LT to RT and now is back at LT. He still is a disappointing pick who probably will never live up to the #1 overall pick he was taken with. He is a quality starter who just can’t be asked to take on a great bullrusher.

As long as you understand that, it’s a question of solidifying the other OT spot for KC. Stanley was seen as a potential top 7 pick headed into the season and hasn’t been great for Notre Dame.

He still is seen as a quality prospect so he should go this high barring a disasterious rest of the season and a bad combine/pro day.
