The Raiders defense went into this game ranked No. 2 against the run but you couldn’t tell Sunday. Back in the day, if something happened to star running back Franco Harris, Rocky Bleier took over and the Steelers still ran on the Raiders. And the Raiders got their running game off too with guys like Marv Hubbard, Mark Van Eeghen.

Then of course, Marcus Allen had his day in the ’80s to pretty much take over the whole rivalry. Sunday, the Steelers got the better of the running game, running for 195 yards to 139 yards for the Steelers. But the star running backs on both teams put their imprints on Sunday’s game.

Le’Veon Bell, the Harris of the Steelers, is out for the season so in comes DeAngelo Williams, the Bleier, to rush of 170 yards. And Murray, the Allen of the Raiders, was having himself a good day with a 44-yard run. But Murray fell short of the 100-yard plateau because he went out of the game with a concussion.
