Bottom line

The Steelers have been the Steelers throughout and the Raiders seem to have found themselves again. And just like in good ole the days, the two teams have become mirrors of each other again. They both have franchise quarterbacks with star receivers, good offensive lines and solid running backs.

On the defensive side of the ball, both teams are young but the front-7s very promising and physical. The area that both teams are lacking in right now is the secondary, particularly the corner position. This is why we saw shootout and another classic played by the two teams on Sunday.

At 4-4 the Raiders trail the Steelers and Jets by one game and if the Raiders catch the Jets, they own the tie-breaker. That would set up Raiders vs Steelers in the wild-card round of the playoffs. Fans of both teams, even the Raiders, have to admit that was one of the most exciting games to watch this year.

What if we got to see that again in the playoffs?
